 The Council Bluffs Recycling Center has existed since 1997 and is here to help with your recycling questions and needs.
Recycling isn't hard...just follow these 3 easy steps.
1. Simply rinse your containers, and leave off the lids.
2. Sort your containers--aluminum cans, cardboard, paper, plastics, glass, etc. Acceptable plastics include #1 and #2 plastic bottles with a neck.
Unacceptable items include #3 - #7 plastics and plastic bags.
3. Pick a location to drop them off. What you can recycle may depend on the location you choose.

A recycling bin is available 24 hours a day/7 days a week at the following locations:
Fareway Grocery on Kanesville Blvd.
Hy-Vee Grocery on N. 16th St.
Hy-Vee Grocery on Madison Ave.
No Frills Grocery on Valley View Dr.
Super Saver Grocery on N. Broadway St.
Wal-Mart at Manawa Centre
